Terms & Conditions – Yorkshire Lens Photography

1. Overview

These terms apply to all services provided by Yorkshire Lens Photography (“the Company”). By placing an order, the client (“the Client”) agrees to the terms below.

2. Booking & Scheduling

All orders must be submitted via the official order form or agreed in writing.

The Company will contact the vendor directly to arrange a suitable shoot time. The Client acknowledges that scheduling is managed by the Company and is subject to availability and access.

3. Property Readiness & Access

The Client is responsible for ensuring the property is:

  • Ready for photography

  • Clean, tidy, and presentable

  • Accessible at the agreed time

If access cannot be gained or the property is not ready, a £50 call-out fee will apply.

4. Cancellations

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a £50 fee

  • Failed access or no-shows will be charged at £50

  • Rescheduling will be accommodated where possible

5. Weather

External and drone work is weather dependent. The Company reserves the right to reschedule where conditions are unsuitable.

6. Turnaround

Standard delivery is within 24 hours of the shoot, excluding weekends and bank holidays unless agreed in advance.

7. Payment

Invoices are payable within 14 days.

Late payment may result in suspension of future work.

8. Image Use

All images remain the property of the Company.

Upon payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the images for marketing the property.

Images may not be:

  • Sold

  • Transferred

  • Reused for other listings

Without written permission.

9. Style & Editing

All work is delivered in the Company’s established style.

By booking, the Client accepts this approach.

10. Floor Plans

Floor plans are provided for marketing purposes only.

They are not guaranteed to be to scale and must not be relied upon for legal or structural use.

11. Liability

Reasonable care is taken at all times. The Company is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing issues at the property

  • Inaccurate information provided by the Client or vendor

Liability is limited to the value of the booking.

12. Unforeseen Circumstances

The Company is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond its control, including weather, illness, or equipment failure.

13. Issues & Feedback

Any issues must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

14. Updates

These terms may be updated at any time. The latest version will always apply.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
